Bedroom

Sleeping Safely and Soundly

The Social Care Institute for Excellence (scie.org.uk) recommends using a plain coloured carpet throughout the home, sudden dark changes in colour can be mistaken for holes in the floor.

Decluttering the bedroom, adding a simple night and day or descriptive clock can also provide an excellent visual aid for people living with dementia.

A backlit day, date and time of day clock can provide comfort at all times
